IACL EUROPEAN REGIONAL CONFERENCE: EFFECTIVE CONSUMER PROTECTION IN THE ALGORITHMIC AND DIGITAL ERA
L’effettiva tutela dei consumatori nell’era algoritmica e digitale
The IACL European Regional Conference will take place in Pavia, Italy, on November 19–20, 2026. Prof. Alfredo Ferrante, Full Professor of Comparative Private Law at the University of Pavia and a member of the IACL Board, is organizing it in collaboration with the University of Pavia. About twenty speakers from Italy, Spain and Uruguay will discuss manipulation and artificial intelligence, digital contracting and platforms, the electronic marketing of financial services, and collective redress in Europe. The program closes with a lecture on the Digital Fairness Act and the future of European consumer law. Prof. Cláudia Lima Marques will join the opening session online.

Admission is free, but you must register. Lawyers practicing in Italy register through the SFERA platform and can earn 8 continuing education credits.
