We are pleased to invite you to a webinar on the use of automated decision-making and consumer law, presented jointly with the European Law Institute.
Date: February 8, 2024
Time: 9:00 a.m. PT | Noon ET | 18:00 CET
The aim of the present webinar is to engage in a transatlantic dialogue on the use of automated decision-making (ADM) by consumers and/or traders. To this end, speakers will share insights on existing legal frameworks and their ‘readiness’ for the use of ADM, reflecting on the upcoming ALI Restatement on Consumer Contracts and recently published ELI Report on EU Consumer Law and Automated Decision-Making, which is an interim output of the ELI project on Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Algorithmic Contracts.

Micklitz of the European University Institute; and Jeannie Patterson of the University of Melbourne.
